Thomas Edward was born in Long Beach, California in 1982 and began his journey in filmmaking in 2011, filming and editing for a vlog titled Blair vs Disneyland, a short-lived YouTube series that follows a man overcoming his extreme fear of Disneyland attractions. In 2012, Edward created two short clips that were submitted for the community project known as Star Wars Uncut : The Empire Strikes Back, recreating two short scenes that were included in the final cut of the fan film. In 2017 and 2018, Edward went on to create 7 student films that mostly focus on darker and more dramatic themes. These films include She Reminds Me of You, Rituals, Where We Left Off, The Way He Looks At Me, Disappearing Act, Another Way of Caring and It Catches Up With You. In 2018, Edward was a videographer and editor for a Fullerton College campus wide event titled Major Declaration Day and a community outreach program based in Los Angeles titled D2 Outreach. In 2019 Edward was the director and cinematographer for a short titled MADCAP which premiered at the Regal Cinemas in Los Angeles for the 48 Hour Film Project. Since then Edward has been a video editor for Team Smart with clients such as Hyundai Mobis, AlixPartners and Fresh Baked Disney of YouTube. Thomas is currently in early pre-production stages for his next two films titled The Somerton and Godskill. Thomas Edward currently works and resides in Orange County, California.
